November, A Month Full of Activities
November will be an exciting month for our community, with four major events where our doctoral candidates and partner institutions will play active roles.
5–7 November — VI Congreso Latinoamericano y Caribeño de Ciencias Sociales. Organized by our partner institution FLACSO Argentina, this conference will take place in Buenos Aires, Argentina, with several of our partners participating in different panels.
6–7 November — EU–CELAC Academic Forum. Hosted by Universidad de Los Andes and Leuven Centre for Global Governance Studies, this forum will bring together leaders, diplomats, scholars, and practitioners from Europe and Latin America. Our doctoral fellows Ana Obando and Joaquin Caprarulo will take part — we look forward to hearing about their experiences!
9–10 November — Fourth EU–CELAC Summit. Supported by our partner Fundación EU-LAC / EU-LAC Foundation, this summit marks a key milestone in strengthening cooperation between the EU and CELAC. Co-chaired by Gustavo Petro, President of Colombia, and António Costa, President of the European Council, it will provide a vital platform for aligning regional agendas..
10–12 November — International Conference on Trade, Investment, Finance, and Sustainable Development in EU–LAC Relations. Hosted by Universidad Nacional de Rosario and supported by the EULAS - Jean Monnet Network, this conference will feature contributions from many of our researchers. Doctoral candidates Ana Obando and Domonkos Bánki will present advances from their respective research projects.
