From 5 to 7 November 2025, FLACSO will host the VI Congreso Latinoamericano y Caribeño de Ciencias Sociales under the theme “Pensar el futuro: Transformaciones sociales en América Latina y el Caribe.”

This major academic gathering will bring together Latin Americanists from around the world for three days of dialogue and reflection in the heart of Buenos Aires. The conference will explore Latin America’s role in a rapidly changing world, addressing the political, technological, and geopolitical transformations shaping our time.
